Cami Lewis

Operations Catalyst
“Philanthropy means sharing my resources (time, talents and finances) with others to help create better lives for those in my community. If everyone were to share just a little of themselves with others, we could make a huge impact on each other, and our world.”

Cami Lewis serves as the Operations Catalyst at Professionals in Philanthropy, which means she is the queen of “other duties as assigned” (we’re so thankful for her flexibility and sense of humor)!

In her role with PiP, Cami assists with the daily operations, coordinates all external activities (meetings, workshops and events), assists with client projects, and helps to develop future offerings. Cami’s mix of creativity and smarts help us think out of the box and get out of our comfort zone, even if we have been noted to cringe along the way.

With a life-long desire to help others and be a catalyst for growth, Cami established a service-based business in 1993 while living in Colorado. Taking her leadership skills and ability to be a business owner’s greatest cheerleader, she worked with clients on business operations development, business plan writing, and financial controls. .

In 2001, she moved to Henderson, NV where Cami continued to support clients in Colorado while also growing her business locally, adding company formation services and real estate investor support to her repertoire. In addition to working in the private sector, Cami has had experience in the public sector, working at the Henderson Police Department for 9 years, providing executive level support and managing one of the substations; and in the non-profit sector, working as the Community Manager for Tech Impact – Las Vegas Opportunity Center, a national nonprofit.

Her passion list is long and continues to grow, and thankfully, the communities where she has lived have reaped the benefits of her passion for service and never-ending desire to support her community. Cami has served as a nonprofit board member for Arts for All Colorado; the HPD Family Support Network, which she founded; and the Henderson Community Foundation, where she also served as Board Chair.

And while she works hard, she plays hard, too. For fun, Cami enjoys reading, hiking, biking, scuba diving, watching movies, and sitting on the patio watching the sun go down with her pups and a great bottle of wine. Raise a glass for Cami!
